I’m really loving these #bookstagram challenges. Every month popular book bloggers create photography challenges, so every day there’s a new prompt and a new picture to take.

I stopped taking photos for a while but these challenges are helping me to explore the hobby again in new ways. It’s really fun to plan out a shoot and get props and find the right angles.

Last month I did a challenge by Commas and Ampersands with the hashtag #ampersandaug16.

The prompts were fairly abstract, so it was really freeing to interpret the photos in new ways. Below are my favourite 12 pics.
